Every shadow needs both light & dark!

I decided to do another friends cut both here and on myspace, please don't take it personally.

Okay, this is going to be a really quick post and I promise to do a longer one on this later. But I only have a few minutes now but I didn't want to go offline without writing this post first. Two weeks ago something happen and most people might think I am starting to go a little around the twist but I got introduced to something that has truly changed my life, well, not exactly changed but I feel like I can be me and I never really felt that way.

  So what has made me so happy and at peace. Promise not to laugh but I found out about "The 10th Kingdom" mini-series. Obviously, I'll be writing about this more but this mini-series isn't just a mini-series to me. Well, that is all I can write at the moment but I hope to write more later so until then take care.

Saturday was an extra special day because it was puppy-boo's birthday.

Happy Birthday, Sweetie!



She is now eight years old and I am so proud of her because she is a pup in a million, no, hundred million. I adore her, actually, everyone that meets her adores her she is my world.

As you can see I have changed my background to something that is slightly more me, I know that I might have to tweak the background color a little more but we'll see how things go over the next few days I have been thinking about stuff and I thought that a little change was due. Over the coming days you may notice a few little changes nothing too wild, I just wanted to give this LJ a little touch of magic.

Also, I will be talking a lot more on something that is close to my heart, something that until last week I didn't know existed so please excuse my excitement. I will post about it more in other posts but I will say this... I got to glimpse into a magic mirror.

Okay, I have two friends birthdays coming up, one friend is new and I know what I am getting them for their birthday and the other friend I have know for years but we haven't really talked in the past few weeks and I haven't a clue what to get them. What I am asking is, am I been horrible that I know what to get my new friend but I am completely stuck on what to get my friend I have known for years?

Also, this is not related to either of the friends above but if you haven't been in contact with a friend for a couple of years? Can you still count them as a friend?

I know it was a stupid question but sometimes I like to think aloud.
